5 Easy Ways to Stop Snacking
You know how it goes, we're full of good
intentions for the day; you even tell yourself that you won't backslide on your diet and not one fatty or sugary
thing will you give in to and snack on. Oh dear will it work for me today can I stop snacking, will I keep
losing weight, or will I fail? I want to look good on the beach this summer, but those milk chocolate bars are
quite small they won't really make any difference, just a quick snack well I do feel hungry!

Oh no, I've failed already! I felt hungry so I believed it was nearly lunch time, what can I do to stop snacking? You think you will be able to hold
out until lunch time but your tummy has it's own take on that one! You really try and not think of those
cake bars or so called bags of low fat snacks (they'll be alright won't they? Er..NO! they are nearly always
FULL of sugar!), what about a packet of crisps they don't weigh much? No No No! Sorry but you won't achieve your
weight loss goals like that you really do have to try and stop snacking!.
Trouble is this constant urge for sweet and fatty foods (did someone mention chocolate?) is

calmer by planning your daily work load more effectively as far as you are able, you will find it easier to
refuse those attractive but unhealthy snacks.
Keep a Supply of Fruit and
Veggies
Personally I'm not so keen on fruit as the
sweet taste starts me lusting after a piece of chocolate or worse! But bits of veg like carrots and my favorite
celery are delicious. Try some of the delicious and very healthy leaves assortment from a supermarket. Share
them with like-minded colleagues as they don't keep too long so share the cost and consumption. But the are full
on some are peppery some are really fresh tasting not like ordinary lettuce. maybe also have some fruit
available on your desk which will distract you from the choccy and crisps
Keep fully occupied with your
work!
When you have planned your time, it's
important to keep to your plan which means that you will have little time for distractions and the possibility
of snacking illicitly! If your mind wanders direct it to the fruit and veg attractively right in front of
you!

Okay thats a bit harsh but try not to have
any small change on your person so if you are tempted by a snack from a vending machine, then you will not be
able to get it easily without asking someone else to change your notes! This could keep you away from the
snacks

Let's get real here, you will find it
difficult to stop snacking and if you can't avoid it then your weight loss plan will not get you the
